The KiCad plugin and the server pick different registration folders when XDG_DATA_HOME is empty or relative, so the server never finds the plugin, and a Specctra DSN export set to require the native bridge fails, while one set to prefer quietly falls back to the Rust exporter, and the plugin leaves files under KiCad's working directory.
