KiCad 10.0.6's Altium schematic importer embeds each symbol under its Altium library name and writes no symbol library or sym-lib-table. ERC then flags all 42 symbols, and the bare footprint names give 26 footprint link errors against the board import. Same board, same day, two imports that do not agree on where the parts live, and the workaround is another per-board script, fix_sch.py.
