Parts placed before a footprint was bound to their library row stay empty, and changing a row footprint later does not update parts already placed from it. ERC flags them, and the netlist and BOM go out without the footprint. MPN and manufacturer are not stamped at placement either, so ERC reports missing MPNs on parts whose library row has one.
