They vendored kistack's 11 KiCad agent skills, but kistack reads boards through KiCad's IPC API, which needs a running KiCad, and KiCad 10's kicad-cli has no api-server; so they wrote a shim answering the same ipc_board.load() call from the board file with pcbnew. They also had to override skill rules, like 'the design file is the source of truth, so no IPC edits of a generated board' and 'the gates decide done.'
