a filament unit's firmware dedupes operations by command id and keeps the last four results until reboot while the host daemon restarts its ids at 1, so after a daemon restart a new command can match an old id and the firmware replays the old result without doing anything; on the bench a calibration start returned the previous run's timeout 60 ms later and never ran.
