Re-running intake with --force to bring in a fixed board wiped the whole workspace, including fw/, which was another agent's merged work, plus the import sources, the generators and the README. The files were recovered from git, and the ask is that --force only replace what intake wrote, or refuse when the folder holds files it did not make.
